Qualifications

  • Candidates should have experience on high-end custom residential and commercial projects
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of working at an architecture or design firm
  • Strong understanding of building construction, building code and architectural details
  • Demonstrated 3D modeling/BIM proficiency (ArchiCAD preferred, but not required)
  • Strong communication skills and highly organized
  • Strong design skills and a passion for design
  • The ability to work well with a team is a must

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Management team in all phases of design including pre-design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, plan check and construction contract administration.
  • Ability to manage small projects, or aspects of larger projects (includes schedule, budget, consultants, etc.)
  • Coordinate with multiple consultants and jurisdictions in pursuit project milestones 
  • Support the Architecture team on multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Assist in design throughout all phases of the project 
  • Participate in and take minutes for client design or project coordination meetings
  • Assist in developing the project (BIM) file for design packages, permit packages and construction packages
  • Assist in expanding office standard libraries

Compensation

  • The starting pay for this position has a salary range of $65,000 - $75,000. The actual salary offer will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications and experience.

Schedule

  • Monday thru Friday with two (2) "off-Friday's" per month
