FAVORITE HOBBIES?

I grew up in Italy and spent my formative years immersed in the rich architectural heritage of my homeland. I studied architecture at the Politecnico di Torino, earning my Master’s degree in Sustainability Architecture. My passion for organic architecture and sustainable design drives my commitment to reducing environmental impact through innovative solutions.

I began my career in Italy, working for several years with Subhash Mukerjee, whose mentorship significantly broadened my architectural perspective. His influence deepened my belief in the architect’s power to model spaces that are not only tailored to clients' needs but also create something truly unique and impactful.

BUILDINGS YOU LIKE THE MOST?

I’m really inspired by Renzo Piano’s work, especially how he blends design with the environment, like in the Art Gallery at Château La Coste winery in France. The way this project fits into its surroundings reminds me of some landscapes I’ve seen in California. As a wine lover and someone passionate about the wine industry, I’d love the chance to design something similar here. Piano’s knack for balancing form and function aligns perfectly with my own approach to creating spaces that are both beautiful and practical.

WHY DO YOU LOVE WHAT YOU DO?

In addition to my architectural pursuits, I have a deep passion for interior design. I believe that interior spaces should enhance both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a client thrilled with the outcome of a project we worked on together.

My career path took me from New York City, where I explored the vibrant urban landscape, to the diverse and inspiring landscapes of California. Every day, I’m motivated by the incredible views right outside my window.
