Back Ranch

Working in close collaboration with the clients, we designed this home to integrate along a gently sloping ridge with distinct stunning views from various focal points of the project. The main bedroom living quarters is nestled in an existing oak grove with a distant view of the Santa Cruz mountains through the surrounding grove of Redwood trees. The main living space has unobstructed views of the Pacific ocean and the distant mountains. The pod-like office is situated further down the hill with views of the ocean and distant ranch properties. Back Ranch house is a place to relax and encourage exploration of the natural beauty of the Santa Cruz Mountain trails, creeks, and tree groves.
