Favre Ridge

This home was the first of many homes we have designed in the Las Cumbres neighborhood of the Santa Cruz Mountains. This neighborhood contains a unique mix of eclectic modern homes. In particular this home was originally designed by a mid century modern architect and our clients wanted to embrace the original style while giving it an updated look and feel while welcoming more natural light and embracing the views. This home utilized a rain screen framing system which provides for rear facade ventilation which makes the building envelope more energy efficient.
