Natural Bridges

Around the corner from Natural Bridges State Beach and adjacent to the infamous West Cliff blow hole, this home was designed to withstand the harsh coastal enivronment while embracing the natural beuaty of the area.  This West side coastal home is also within walking distance to many of the world famous surf breaks of Santa Cruz including Steamers Lane, Mitchells Cove and Natural Bridges.  We designed the home to have varying spots to experience the property depending on the weather or mood.  The lower street level has an indoor outdoor living area to enjoy the fire pit and encourage conversation with the neighbors.  The upper street side level is perfect for entertaining, and takes advantage of the scenic ocean views with indoor and outdoor gathering spaces.  The rear of the property is another gathering space where the yard can be enjoyed on the windy days.  We aimed to blend modern coastal architecture with the scale and vibe of the West Cliff neighborhood.
